PULBOROUGH CC CHILD WELFARE POLICIES

In line with our "Clubmark" status, the Club has formal policies for matters relating to Child Welfare. Whilst predominantly aimed at the Colts Section, the principles will apply to the welfare of ALL MEMBERS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE.

Whilst all our Colts Managers and Coaches will be subject to formal CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checks, due to the nature of adults and juniors playing in the same matches at Senior Level, all members over 18 years of age will be required to complete a self declaration form WHICH WILL BE TREATED IN THE STRICTEST CONFIDENCE and which will be held by the Club's Welfare Officer. This formality is another recommendation from the ECB's "Safe Hands" Policy and will help the Club's commitment to provide a safe environment for its younger members.
